'Just Steve' and Becky are "SHAM-ROCK".
We perform predominantly Irish-based music with fiddle, guitar and vocals played with invention, and a keen sense of fun.
We're both accomplished performers, and have an enormous range of music to offer, from the great traditional songs of the 'Dubliners', through foot-tappers from the 'Pogues', 'Sawdoctors' and the 'Levellers' to modern Irish Rock from 'Flogging Molly'.
We are a very live and lively duo, with no need to use backing tracks.
From deeply moving ballads through very silly sing-alongs, to music which has the crowd lepin' about with their feet on fire, "sham-rock" delivers the entire spectrum of contemporary and traditional folky-rocky music providing a truly enjoyable experience.
