Instant MP3 tracks on your own site Ever wanted to put MP3s on your own web site, but didn't know how to? Lemonrock has come up with an easy answer - MP3 feeds for your own site! You can add as many different tracks as you want to your page, by copying a small piece of 'embed code' from Lemonrock. Bands and artists can choose a simple button or a fully featured player, and the player(s) can be easily colour-matched with a band's own site. To add MP3s to a band's own site, simply click on any MP3 [embed] link in your band's MP3 section, and Lemonrock will create the embed code for you. [Licensing note: although the MP3s appear to play from a band's own site, they are actually coming from the Lemonrock site. This means... more » [27 Oct 08]

Venue Accessibility Information Lemonrock has introduced Accessibility information for all venue pages. "We have added this feature in the light of the recent changes to the law, notably the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)," said Lemonrock's Editor, Mac MacLaren. "The accessibility information enables venues to show what provisions they have made to improve access for everyone," Mac explained. "There are eighteen different categories that can be set by ticking boxes. We have added all the most common categories, such as customer parking, wheelchair access and toilet facilities, as well as extended categories such as induction loops and baby changing facilities. "The accessibility information can be edited by venue... more » [23 Sep 08]

New - Dep Diary Due to popular demand (you know who you are!), Lemonrock has created a brand new Dep Diary in addition to its already successful public diary that shows free dates for bands and venues. If you are available for gigs as an individual, you simply use your existing profile, or you can create a new artist profile, and add your details. You then create a diary for the new player, and specify what instruments you play, when you are available and how far you can travel. Bands who need a dep simply search from their own town, specifying the instrument required. A list is then shown of suitable candidates! We hope the new Dep Diary is useful to everyone! Dep Diary page... more » [20 Jun 08]
