| Souljacker win Mooncalf Battle of the Bands Did you make it to Riffs Bar, Nr Swindon on Saturday? If you don't know already, Souljacker won the Battle of the Bands. It was a fantastic night with a great set played by the guys. If you made it to the show then you know what I'm talking about. You really need to see Souljacker in the flesh to appreciate how good this band really is. The atmosphere built up as each band played and by the time Souljacker stepped onto the stage, it was clear that most people had been waiting for this moment. During the other acts, a lot of people were milling around outside either smoking or cooling off. When the guys started playing, everyone piled inside and Riffs was packed to the gunwales. They played five songs starting with cheeky track 'Naked' followed by old favourite 'Jimmy Page Drank My Tea'. Next song was a new track 'Bird of Prey', then the classic rock track 'Eat My Dust' finishing of with their signature song, 'Soul Money'. The roars and cheers at the end of each song were deafening.
