Malakoff are a female-fronted band based in Hertford/St Albans. They formed when Emma Easy (singer and guitarist) popped out of uni as a shiny graduate and decided to pick up her neglected guitar. She found Tom Heightman (bassist and fretless wizard) through Farm Factory Studios and they decided to revive some of Emma's old back catalogue and write some brand new songs. Dave Morgan the drummer saw the two piece perform at the Horn one Sunday evening and wanted to get involved too. Now they play often around the local area, from St Albans to Watford to Hertford and London.
The debut EP, 'At Sea' was released June 2008 and is available at gigs or by getting in touch with Emma.
