This year's Brentford Festival is at Boston Manor Park from noon to 5.30pm and is going to be even more exciting than the last. Admission is free and there are masses of children's activities, a feast of stalls (craft/food/drink), a car boot sale, dog displays and some very, very exciting live music.
The Live Music
This year will see one of the world's only Moody Blues tribute bands, Blue Onyx, take the stage alongside electrifying, contemporary folk rock band, Kindred Spirit, who have performed at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, and other exciting live bands too.
The complete running order is:-
12.30pm Mandy Woods (a winner of the West London Song Contest)
1.15pm Roy Hill (a winner of the West London Song Contest)
2pm Polar
2.45pm Greenfingers
3.30pm Agatha
4.15pm Blue Onyx
5pm Kindred Spirit
Blue Onyx (http://www.blueonyx.co.uk) are an excellent, new, eight-piece band. They are already attracting masses of attention from Moody Blues fans because they are not only an excellent band but the Moody Blues perform very few live gigs in the UK now. We are very lucky to have Blue Onyx as they only recently started gigging and this will only be their second live performance. They have a full concert arranged at the Waterman's Arts Centre in Brentford on September 15th.
