Keef Jackman and Drew Bonnington started the acoustic club in April 2002 as they both had a desire to play Blues music acoustically. Initially the club started as a monthly event and now, due to its growing popularity is held weekly, every Thursday at the Function room at the Half Moon Public House. The pub has a friendly atmosphere, 'World of Cheese' that's food rather than music ie bread and cheese platters, real and guest ales that you can vote for their return if you enjoyed them and of course the acoustic club with a fantastic mix of styles, muscians and ages. A little something here for everyone.
